I bet. 7000 is a reasonable bet, maybe more. I would assume that UTG is capable of folding on the flop.

The limp/call preflop seems to be Ax more often than not. Or a really small pair trying to get in as cheaply as possible.

Readless, I think I'm checking behind . Weak tight, I guess, but I don't much want to get CRed . If the board had any kind of paint, I'd fire away, but people like putting you on overs. If you hit an A or Q or pick up the flush draw, then we can talk.

Then again, I've been getting CRed in this situation a whole lot lately, and I don't like it.

I cbetted. Villain checkraised allin. I said, "Oh ____." I then figure I am getting about the right pot odds against a pp and call. I was actually ahead of pot odds on this flop. You know that's my style.

I am really not sure that I played this wrong. If villain doesn't have a pp, I am ahead on this flop. Because of the shallowness of the money, I may be better off just getting the money in and hoping I am ahead, as I played it. If I know villain has a pp, I guess I can take a free card. Since I have position, checking might be better.

I check here so I don't get check/raised off the best hand. Also, villain isn't usually folding a better hand on the flop.

It's interesting, though, because I'm probably c-betting a pocket pair, so I don't know if checking behind tips my hand too much to a good player. For those who also said check behind, what other types of hands are you checking here? And what's our plan for the turn when we miss again and villain comes out betting? Are we playing bluff catcher, or just trying to lose the minimum when we miss?
