Just saw SAW III. *Spoilers*
 

It seems like the director got reviews of the first two and found out that viewers wanted MORE torture scenes and MORE crazy plot twists.
There were maybe 10 different killing/torture methods used (including a man slowly being drowned by liquified pig carcus).
The last 10 minutes were an attempt to tie up all the loose ends in the plot but it failed. And just for good measure, they began a new sub-plot about the daughter for unknown reason.
Also, as expected, poor acting all around, but that didn't really matter to me.
I say go see it if you saw the first two.

On a semi-related note: the previews made me think that we are running out of good movie ideas.

disagree with the detractors. it was a great movie. Saw I was pretty good, Saw 2 was great and 3 was fantastic. The Saw series is in my top ten favourite movies, and I have seen a ridiculous number (including almost all of the imdb top 250)

The movie was pretty bad, not enough killing IMO. I thought it tried to be too dramatic at times.

Two things I laughed at in the theatre:

1 - Insta-Freeze
2 - Somehow finding the only witness to a crime.
