Titan: now blocked, what about other iPoker sites?

Sorry, we do not accept real money bets from your legal jurisdiction.

I live in the USA.
This is the message I now receive when trying to buy-in to real money games/tournaments at Titan Poker.

Are any of you USA residents who play on other iPoker sites, such as Noble, CD, BetFred, etc., able to play real money games?

I qualified through 2 satelittes to the Oct. 22nd "pick your tournament" WPT Super Satellite tournament, value $315. I was automatically registered at that time. The system still shows me registered.

I'm going to start e-mailing support to see if they'll let me play and actually award me the prize if I win. If not, they need to credit my account with $315.

Email from CD Poker:

Dear XXXXX,

Due to the imminent passing of the Federal Unlawful Gambling Enforcement Act by the United States Senate on September 30, 2006, we will not accept wagers from residents in the United States. We regret to inform you that, consequently, we are closing your gaming account.

Your balance, minus any uncleared bonuses, is available to you. You may access your account and instruct the withdrawal of such balance.

We appreciate your patronage, and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We hope to be able to offer to you our services again in the future.

Oddly enough, an ipoker skin called "USA POKER" is still working fine for me

I will be interested to hear whether you get credited the value of the tournament you qualified for but cannot play due the ban on USA players. We love to knock party poker but although banning USA players will disburse the the monster jackpot to those qualified, will prorate any bonus earned and have at least given us notice to finish any unearned satellite wins before Bush signs the bill. This closing of the sites without any notice is an unnecessary panic reaction.

SIA also still taking play I believe. iPoker have already reduced all of their guarantees daily/weekly/monthly.

Not long till others follow suit I imagine

A small iPoker skin called "Playtech" seems to still be taking US business (I have received no email from them, I can still log in). They are unknown but seemingly reputable, they processed a cashout of mine quickly.
