Battle of the Ages Competition
 

For those of you who are not yet aware, some people got together and decided to host a challenge of MTT players with groups determined by age.

Sheets captained the team of ages 30+ and gbmantis captained the team of -25. Those in the middle were drafted.

I think it's a pretty interesting contest. I have the same opinion as "TheBeat" regarding young players. the only reason why it looks like there are much more good young players than "old"; it's just because there are millions of youngsters playing. Saying that the young team was a 2:1 favorite to win this contest was just insane.

Anyways, I'm just happy to participate with the old team, the last time I played tourneys in a regular basis was in May when we have the MTT contest and I hope this contest will fire me up to play a ton of tourneys in October. I had a good first week, so it's already working [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

BTW, Rizen should be with the old guys, nobody married with 2 kids and with the level of maturity of Rizen should be with the young team [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I was supposed to be on the old guys team but had to bail because I'll be in Hawaii for a week this month. Looked like fun and I would have enjoyed it.

I never heard about this. Then again, I probably would never have been seriously considered anyway, even if I wasn't on sabbatical.
