i don't understand the theory behind you must raies your sb everytime. hence, preflop is fine, you have sc and odds to call.

i also really don't mind that river play, you can have a king here and i dont' think he's got a king here very often- or a pocket pair >9s, or a randon 8- but if he's got A8hh, he's obv looking you up.

Re: I don\'t do this that often

Pre-flop: I usually go for the raise or fold strategy in blind battles. Recently, I was experimenting with open-limping. I don't really like it. This isn't a good hand to be doing it with or against the right opponent. I think if the BB is loose-passive, like 50/5, than open-limping has some merits.

River: I really thought his range was 2x or a heart draw. I think both of these hands have to bet the river because they've been counterfeited and its they're only chance of winning the pot. I didn't think Kx was a huge part of his range, b/c I thought he'd put in a raise somewhere. So, unless he had Kx or 8x of hearts, I didn't see much he could call the river with. Also, I'd take the exact same line with Kx, b/c it gets the most value out of bluffs and counterfeited hands.
