Foxwoods VS Atlantic City

To those of you who are familiar with these two places, I was curious how they stack up against each other with respect to (poker) 'action', casino locations, amenities, 'customer service', rake, etc...

Also, if you had to have one of them at your 'doorstep', which would you choose based on 'neighbourhood' safety, local shopping destinations, driving distances, etc?

Thanks to whomever can offer some insight into this subject!

Actually at your doorstep? Like less than ten minutes away? Foxwoods, Jewett City etc. are quiet areas.

AC is a way better area for actual gambling though and it isn't even close.

Mr. H. I live in New York about equidistant from the two. For me, I generally stick to either the Borgata or Foxwoods when I play live. It would probably help if you gave me details as to the games you are interested in. AC definitely has the potential to get bigger games going during the non-tourney times (I was there during non-tourney when they spread 2k-4klhe). Also, there isn't much else in the foxwoods area except poker. The casino is nowhere near as nice as the Borgata's and there is much more shopping in the AC area than Foxwoods area. Also, the rooms are generally cheaper in AC than they are at Foxwoods. You also have a lot more options for just about everything in AC.

Hope it helps.

if u wanna play hold em higher than 20-40 ac is the only option. playing hi at foxwoods sucks unless u play 75-150 stud or O.E. which is great. i like AC, borgata is beutiful. im from there and always wanted to move back to the boardwalk but i got stuck in boston with g/f and kid.
