Othmer\'s book

Hello all

Now that we have Studtracker, I've made the switch to Stud from my usual Hold'em game. I'm putting together a reading list, but Othmer's book (both 1st and 2nd edition) is hard to come by. I can only find it through Conjelco and they charge $40 for shipping to Denmark. This is worse than highway robbery. Plus, I get to pay taxes, duty, toll and various fees - including taxes, duty, toll and various fees ON the taxes, duty, toll and various fees.

So, for all of you who have Othmer's work, how essential is it? Because if it really is a must-have, I might as well book a flight to America and go buy it in a book store. It would cost the same as buying it from Conjelco, and I'd have two times eight hours of free peanuts and Scotch.

Thanks in advance,

Smurf

Hi Smurf

I'm Danish too ...

About a month ago I bought it here

http://gamblingbooks.co.uk/

And they delievered it (together with ciaffones omaha book, which I also bought) within a week (And it is a UK store, so no trouble with our toll, It really is a nightmare buying books in the US)

I have just skimmed it, so I do not have much of an opinion about it, just felt that I had to have it (I'm a bookjunkie)

Thanks, mate!

Nice tip. They do have it still. I thought I could give you a run for your money on being a book junkie since I'm a Ph.D student at the Royal School of Library and Information Science, but I can see you're mostly a NL HE player and still you're buying a hard-to-come-by Stud book. Brilliant!

Cheers,

Smurf
