Atlantic City - Craps Free Odds
 

Hello All,

I am headed to AC and wanted to know if any of the casinos offered double odds or better? I am staying at Trop so I can get some poker in as well, would be nice if they have at least double there.

I played at Excalibur on my last trip to Vegas and those 5x Odds are nice.

double odds at the minimum at all AC casinos. definitely at least 3/4/5 or full 5x at well over half of the properties. Frank Scoblete reviews BJ and Craps conditions on the bjindisder.com site but sometimes it's incomplete or biased opinion - but it's a start.

I believe Trop has 3X, 4X, 5X, but I am not 100% certain

Taj and Borgata have 5x, or more. I know if you put $10 on the pass, you can put $50 odds on all numbers. If you put $15 on the pass, you can put $105 odds on 6/8. I get mixed results, by the way on each trip, so yours may vary.

Just check the tables. I was at Ballys and one table had 2x and the table next to it had 5x. So you can definitely find 5x.

If you learn how to dice set, this can be very profitable.

Thanks for the responses, I wound up playing two sessions at the Tropicana. I was surprised the tables were 10 and 15 dollar minimums on a Monday afternoon/evening but it worked in my favor I guess, was +900 for both sessions, both tables were true 5x odds.

Just got back from AC this weekend. Taj has $10 minimums, even during the slow times. The Borgata had a $5 minimum around noon Saturday. [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] During peak time Sat night, $15 was the smallest table.

Many of the clubs have 5x, some clubs (Ballys/Caesars, but I haven't been there since Harrah's took over) had some 2x tables and some 5x tables. The clubs that have 5x have historically had quirky rules that only affect bets in units of $15, for example on 6/8 you can go $15/125 or $30/250. But $25/ only 125 or $50/250. On 5/9 I think you can go $15/100 and $30/200 but $25/100 and $50/200.
