i had a friend who was kinda of in a similiar situation. They asked him a lot about his math skills and his portfolio history. Dunno if that helps, prolly not. Either way, good luck with this.

I just had an interview yesterday. Asked questions about my previous work experience, why do I want to be a trader, how do I work in group environment, how much do I know about derivatives, etc.

Peppered between these questions, the interviewer would ask something like what is 7^3 to see how quickly I could come up with the answer on the spot.

know the company you are interviewing for, know the market, and the markets they work in (check yahoo finance, and know it kinda well)

be prepared to answer: "where do you see yourself in 10 years?" and a bunch of other questions so simple that they're hard

"Are you an a-hole?" (Correct answer is yes).

"Would you trample your own mother AND first-born for a great buy on pork bellies?" (same.)
