Raising A7o out of the small blind
 

MP3 is a fish and will see any unraised flop (and most raised flops as well). Very loose passive. So I wanted to isolate against him as a favorite vs his range. I also reasoned that being OOP wouldn't hurt me that much since he is so passive. What do you think?

What kind of player is the BB? Generally, trying to get someone out of the pot after they put money in pre-flop doesn't work at these levels so you want to hope BB doesn't have a hand. I would want a better hand against a calling station since you won't force him off a K high flop and most cards are scare cards if you pair your 7.

Looked up BB now, he is 33,33%/0%/1.5 after 19 hands. Don't know what he was when this hand was played.

You're not getting him out of the pot PF, but a c-bet on the flop may well do it, as your PF raise sells it as a strong hand when he's missed.

Of course, if he plays back at you that flop better have hit you hard or you'll need to get away from this hand. Even a call on the flop may mean trouble.

I would do this if BB is capable of folding from the BB sometimes. I do not want to be OOP vs 2 players.
