Tice was 32-32 over 4 years, with talent that should have been a serious playoff team all four years. I have followed the team here, but I'm not really a fan. They never struck me as a team, just a bunch of football players with no direction. As a TV commentator remarked some years ago, the Vikings have a team culture of self-destruction. Tice was not capable of changing that. They need someone like Bud Grant to kick butt. There is no indication if the new owner knows how to put together a staff, but he sure doesn't pull any punches in getting rid of one.
