Venetian Pools - nice?

Going to LV next month, and my wife and her friend want to spend at least one of the days by the pool - I've never stayed at the Venetian, and on their web site there are no pictures....how are the pools there?

Thanks

Very nice pool area, though admittingly not nearly as nice as Wynn, though more practical for actual swimming purposes (Wynn's is more about lounging and sunbathing, whereas Venetian's is more about actual swimming).

A regular long pool with a couple shallow ones. Lots of marble columns and waitresses around.

Poolsiode bar, and cabanas available. Fairly standard, but nice. Nothing really over the top (unlike the hotel rooms).

I've been out there at night before, very romantic setting at night as well.

Venetian pools never crowded ... very nice...not too many young kids, but not as much eye candy as say Mandalay Bay.

Wynn has a European section? I'd only heard about Mandalay and Caesars.
