Playing an exposed card

Playing in our weekly NLHE tournament and I wasn't getting any cards. I am in middle position and the dealer accidently exposes my first card, and it is turned face up on the table Ac.

I say I would like to play card, no one disagrees so I get my second card when the deal comes around and it is another ace. Action folds around to me.

Questions:
1. Would you let a player do this in your game?
2. If a good card is exposed, say A or K, is it to my advantage to play it or just get a new card or redeal?
3. How would you have played the AA hand?

1.you can't play that card, it's now the burn card.

2.new card

3.wouldn't have had AA, because I follow the rules.

Ironically that happened this weekend in a family game. Exposed card was a King, we let my fatherinlaw keep it. Flop came with two Kings's. Needless to say it kinda killed his action that hand. Not sure exact ruling, but we let him keep it.

I agree, and if I am hosting the game exposed is always the burn, but the house rules can override and lots of home games the player has the option to keep by decision of the host or a consensus of the players
