First medium stacks hand post- holla!

My first session at 200NL, yay! Villain is 45/15/4 over about 50, which is why i thought calling the flop raise was ok. I was planning on folding to a turn bet since I didn't want to play for stacks here, however maybe that's a mistake and I should have called a turn bet. I thougt about blocking river but decided I'd just call a bet. Is this ok? Thoughts?

You should valuebet that river as played

would you suggest different flop/turn line?

why is bet/fold better than c/c on this river?

What is he calling a valuebet here with that you beat?

I don't like the call on the flop. I think I would fold and find a better opportunity to take this guy out. The pot size has grown to a point where he is in control and can easily get you all-in if he wanted to.

Let's say he donkbets $60 into a $150 pot. Are you really going to fold after you called a $40 raise on the flop?

I think your line is fine. IMO c/c river is definitely correct, since he was repping a hand that beats yours (QQ+ or a J) on flop, and nothing has really changed. So either he's bluffing, and may fire again, or you're beat. A v-bet here only saves him a possible bluff bet.

Even against a 45/15 I don't like calling flop, especially if you're planning to fold turn bet.

As played i don't see what you beat, vilain 'usually' check the 9 on river, QT/T8 is likely to bet, overpairs too, i don't think the river call is good. Wrong?
I don't consider pure bluff to be likely here, maybe, just maybe, some donkey who thinks you missed and feels like raising underPP. Not sure how often they bet river though.

meh, I could be convinced either way. 45/15 obv. isn't all that meaningful by itself. OP: Do we have a read on how villain plays post flop? I mean there are a lot of players who could run at 45/15 over 50 hands that are actually fairly tight postflop.

I completely agree, however, that folding here can never be a *big* mistake, but calling certainly can.

Wow give up on the flop fast. You are so screwed here 95% of the time. As played don't VB the river. Probably c/f.

What the hell is going on here?

Why the loose advice? I would fold the flop. As played I would fold the river. Why would this guy bet a 9 there?

Q10 is possibly valuebetting the river and if he has a J, he obv. has us.

This is a bad river call.
