Reverse Implied Odds-type hands in blinds

How do you guys tend to handle situations where you flop marginal, but easily outdrawn hands out of position in the blinds?

Assume $50 NL 6-max (that's what I play, but I think these play out the same in many different game levels), three limpers + SB completes to you in the BB, where you check:

Hero has 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] -- Flop is 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero has K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] -- Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero has Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] -- Flop is Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Is check-folding in spots like this horrible? Do you really want to bet out into a multi-way field with crappy hands here and start building a pot, even if your top pair could be the best hand?

In the first hand I would definately bet out. You want to thin out the field, and in 6-max, TP should be a good hand.

The 2nd and 3rd hand I c/f. Your kicker isnt good enough here.

It large depends on table texture for me. If they fold a lot I'll bet out but if they call a lot I'll c/f since I won't know where I stand a lot of the time and will probably end up winning small pots and losing big ones.

5 handed I cant see leading being a great option in any of these spots.
Personally i CF all three.
If you arent crushed (e.g. set outkicked) they either fold or have several outs so i dont think your hands are much better than a bluff in these spots when you lead.

I bet in all three hands if it is a tight table. If called, I shutdown on the turn. I am essentially semi-bluffing, because if called, I almost invariably have the worst hand, but if I catch my kicker, I probably have the best one.

If the table is loose and passive then I check it and fold it. If someone bets after me checking, they probably have a better hand (it being a passive table). If they call me, I might be ahead, but I could also very well be behind.

By betting or c/c we'd be building a sizable pot OOP with very marginal holdings with two streets to come (especially in the last two hands).

If there is some very loose and aggressive guy out there, I check flop in all three hands and call him. This has to be a real maniac for me to do it though, which seems unlikely, given the pf limping.

TWP said a while ago that her standard line w/TPSK in the BB on a fairly raggedy flop is c/c, lead, lead. this always gets the money versus midpair hands. obviously if they raise the turn we're out. if they raise the river, it's usually because they just made two pair, not because they were slowplaying us.

try it.
