Naked nut FD OOP Strategy

I usually play 100NL, but for arguments sake lets say this is either 50NL 100NL or 200NL. Stacks are ~100BB effective.

I play agressive and laggish.

MP is PFR (he raises 3 or 4xBB), so the pot is raised and I call.

After the flop I'm first to act, or there is 1 in front of me who checks to me. When action get back to me, its HU.

I have Ax suited, flop is two of my suit and otherwise not especially coordinated.

I bet 3/4 pot when action comes to me first.

PFR 2bets me.

I'm wondering if my decision shouldnt be loosely tied to the 2bet amount.

If its 2x (min raise), I should push or maybe call, but push more often than I call.

If its 3x I should push or call (around 50/50), and re evaluate on turn if I call.

If its 4x or more I should push or fold (never call), and fold more often than push.

My thinking is that the smaller his re raise is the more FE I have, and hence I should push more often. On the other hand the more he raises the less FE I have, and hence I should call or fold more often.

Any thoughts?

(Fell free to tear me apart here)

I don't know about this last bit, about having more FE if he has a small reraise. If he gives you immediate odds, I'll take them OOP. Otherwise I do like push/reraise strategies.

One thing I love about flush draws is your equity isn't that low, but you can look like a maniac pushing them on the flop, which sometimes gets you more action later... :-D

You got a valid point.

But where do we draw the line? When do we push, and when dont we?

And yes I do this so I get payed on sets, str's and when I have a monster combo draw.

Anyway my thinking is, that weaker players tend to raise more with better hands than with medicore hands. So the more strength they show, the less likely they are to fold.

And most of the the value here is from FE. Rarely do we have more than 35% equity.

Nobody else has anything to say?

I refuse to believe that

imo this is pretty read dependant. against an unknown i tend to just call if hes giving me good immediate odds. if i think there is a reasonable chance hes stealing and i wont make any money anyway if i hit my draw, i tend to push.

also depends on stack sizes and such.
