Probably dumb AQo preflop question
Like I said before, I'm trying to get used to the little differences that come with playing full ring.
What do you guys usually do? Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) saw flop|saw showdown CO ($15347.60) Button ($7141) SB ($11669.18) Hero ($5075) UTG ($2314.50) MP1 ($11191) MP2 ($16302.68) Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $25. UTG calls $50, MP1 calls $50, MP2 calls $50, CO calls $50, 2 folds Hero? |

Re: Probably dumb AQo preflop question
You are only playing 7 handed.

Re: Probably dumb AQo preflop question
Raise to something ridiculous for value or just check- both are fine IMO based on table conditions. If you raise big, c-bet based on the reverse implied odds of opponents hand; if you don't raise, remember not to play a big pot with one pair because it is a limped pot.

Re: Probably dumb AQo preflop question
I would make it 400. But this example is more similar to 6max then full ring.

Re: Probably dumb AQo preflop question
full ring means you are more likely to get reraised from EP limper.

Re: Probably dumb AQo preflop question
HEK,
There is one more person than you play with here than in a 6 max game. Do you think that changes the dynamic of what to do with this hand in this situation? (I don't) If you were 10 handed, i would be more inclined to check, although i might make it 325 some of the time. |
