Moving to Vegas
 

So a lot you guys know already, but I'll be moving to Vegas to pursue a lifestyle of full-time debauchery (and to play online poker). I previously lived in Washington state, and the new law banning online poker here made it clear that if I wanted to continue playing a ton, I'd have to move out of state, or I'd be committing a class C felony!!!!! Honestly, the law also coincided with plans I was already hatching, so the move comes at a perfect time.

Anyway, I already made a trip last week and signed a lease on a random 2bedroom/2bath apt somewhere on the end of Decatur (yeah I suck at locations and names). It's apparently about a 10 minute drive from the strip. I expect to be spending a fair amount of my time just grinding online, but also will be attending and traveling to some live events/games (notably the Empire State Championships and a couple WPT events, and whatever other medium to large buyin 18+ live events I can find) as time permits. And of course, live games whenever possible [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

What suggestions do you guys have for easing the transition of moving into Vegas? I know a ton of you live there, so any pointers/hints would be awesome. If you'd like to talk/meet up I'm psither101 on AIM.

I wasnt aware that there was a law in Washington State banning online poker...could you elaborate a little on that
