I would fold immediately.

I would fold immediately. [/ QUOTE ] What about Againt a 40/20 LAG? |

[ QUOTE ] I would fold immediately. [/ QUOTE ] What about Againt a 40/20 LAG? [/ QUOTE ] I think the furthest I would go vs a nonmaniac would be to call the flop and fold unimproved on the turn. But honestly I wouldn't be surprised if folding immediately isn't best vs the LAG also. |

Re: Common Flop Situation, monotone flop
Yeah, so? He'll also have a lone club a lot more often.

Re: Common Flop Situation, monotone flop
... no he wont. Not % wise, anyways. Either archetype is going to pop you with any club, but there are more 6's, 4's and 2's in a loose players range (TAGs typically underdefend in this spot). Also, a TAG (if by TAG we mean decent player) may not raise all his pair / pair + club combinations here, realizing that there's very little point in getting money in against a 12-15 outer on the flop when he sometimes won't have the best hand and there are very few worse hands he can charge.

Re: Common Flop Situation, monotone flop
Right and there are more clubs in a loose player's range as well...more hands = more clubs right? I also don't think a decent player is auto raising a lone club on this flop though a lag probably is.

Re: Common Flop Situation, monotone flop
I often check behind here on the flop.
