Help with some software?

I just purchased a new PC and lost the old excel sheet that I was storing my records on. Ive basicly gone 2 months now without recording any data. I want to get a new program to track my tournemt buyins, profits, losses, roi, etc... This will be used mainly for tourneys but I also play 10 or so hours a week of NL and Limit cash, and would like to be able to store this information as well, though seperatly.
What would be the best software to use for this. Do I really need pokertracker for this minimal recording? Is there any free program/spreedsheet that is already accesible without cost?
thanks

If you're playing poker for money, it's worth it to buy Pokertracker.

Hi,

My Tourney Tracker software will be in beta in about a week or so (private alpha testing is beginning tonight). It was initially geared towards SNG's but I have expanded it to work with all tourneys. You can see the thread with screen shots here:

I downloaded PT and am trying it for a few days before I decide if this is what works best for me. I know this sounds silly, but its pretty confusing when you first start using it...

That's not silly at all; pokertracker is hard and complicated. However, it can be such a useful tool for improving your game, I think it's worth the time (and money) to give it a real try.

LL...Download the trial version of PokerOffice at www.pokeroffice.com. The user interface is a lot easier to manipulate and will neatly store all your Tournaments and Ring games. Setting up stats for certain players (Fish all the way down to TAG) is super easy too. They also have graphs that track every stat you can think of, and they are super easy to configure. Just choose what stats you want a report on from a drop down box. I hope this helps.
