My First Post... Sort of
 

I have been reading these forums religiously for the past year or so but have never really posted to much. My old 2+2 account name was also my party sn so I decided to switch my 2+2 name because I want to post more. I only had 200 or so posts and most were in SnG forum so you probably wouldn’t recognize my old name.

I switched from SnG's to nl cash roughly 4 months ago and started at nl50 but now am between 200 and 400. I’m still a full ring slave but hopefully soon I'll make the switch. I basically changed my name and am vowing to post more because #1 I suck at poker and #2 I don’t have any poker friends. It kind of sucks to play poker a few hours a day and have it be an important part of my life but not being able to talk to anyone seriously about it. I guess Ill leave you guys with a hand.

3) hand looks fine, once he 3-bets you might as well push and see 2 cards. he's not folding though, thats for sure.

Standard... except, unless I have some real bad players behind me I wouldn't typically call from here with suited connectors this low, I'd either raise or fold. Really don't want to be raised from behind, or even have others in the pot with me.

i wouldnt raise because hardly ever do utg raisers have air especially a full size raise. I would probably raise a mini raise but I doubt he's laying the hand down with the raise he allready made. I usually call here just because the original raiser more often then not has a good hand and I have lots of implied odds.

I dont push, I just call. Villain isn't getting away from his hand and with a mid pair and flush draw, you want that fold equity.

Use implied odds if you miss the turn and go from there.

Dude the pot is big and we are probably a slight favorite now, but won't be on the turn if it bricks. Completely standard push. This push is not just about fold equity.

OP, Lesson #3: If you're trying to hide your sn on 2+2, don't use the same sn for AIM and put it in your post [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img].

The whole hiding the name thing wasnt that big of a deal to me... It was more just not liking the old name and trying to get a new start. Obviously not going so well. lol
