Re: some hands that i would like to get feedback on

Hi,

Hand 1: why did you not bet this turn? I would bet at least half the pot here!

Hand 2: Bet half the pot on the turn other than that its ok.

Hand 3: ?? you reraised the flop and failed to continue betting when another draw card came on the turn. I would be betting at least half the pot on the turn.

Hand 4: I don't know why you won't bet your trips. As played after the turn its ok but I would reraise the river bet.

Hand 5: Played ok but I would bet a little less on that turn maybe 7-8.

Re: some hands that i would like to get feedback on

Hand 1: I think bet again on the turn. If you face resistance then you can drop here. He might have an ace. Say that he bets into you on the turn, I think a raise would be in order to see where you are. You will either take it down there or if he calls the raise then you can just check down the river. But that situation didnt happen... so I say another 3/4 pot bet on the turn would have been my only change here.

Hand 2: Played fine after the flop with the scary board IMO. Personally I would have folded preflop as there were others to react to the raise after you (could get re-raise)... I am just a bit biased as I hate to play 22 and 33 unless I am in position or have fabulous read on someone... just from my own PT stats I get crushed with 22 and 33... I think you played it fine after getting into the pot however.

Hand 3: Again, I think a bet on the turn of $6 or $7 would be in order here... or if you prefer the check behind on the turn I would give him a raise on the river to see how strong his 10 is (I think thats what he would have here and not the other 9). I think you should continue to show strength unless he makes a play to convince you otherwise. If he raises your turn bet then you can just call down or fold...

Hand 4: I say dont limp with this hand because unless the flop smacks you in the face (which it kinda did here) then you have to drop or make a bluff. My opinion would be to fold or raise preflop. I think how the hand is played, you should have put out a bet on the flop (half pot) and then turn bet gives you a little more info I think (an A would raise you at that point probably or some other hand may just fold if they know they are going to have to pay up on the river as well)... and then if resistance on river you can think of the fold with the crappy kicker... just my opinion...

Hand 5: I think you were fortunate that no overcards came on flop... again, with such a large preflop raise I would personally fold 55 in early position.

I am in no way a pro nor do I make a living or any kind of significant money with poker so these are just my 2 cents worth of opinion on your hands... your play may be correct, as you had some good results with how it worked out but just wrote down some things that came to mind when I read your HH. Good luck.

I think you're better off posting one hand at a time.

well, then there will be 5 different threads i figured this way its a bit more convenient for a quick review of each hand.

Re: some hands that i would like to get feedback on

at work, jotted down my notes on paper so not looking at the hands now.

H1
PF: I usually don’t PFR w/ A8o when im not on the button (personal style?). however if PFR, most 2+2s prefer 4bb + 1 per limper, so about $2.50 in this case
F: fine
T: bet at least $8 here. Villain calling w/ A on flop means turn A should keep dynamic of hand the same. You still have the FD to worry about so bet at least ¾ pot here. Also betting the turn helps the villain to define his hand here.
R: as played, river is fine I think.

H2
Looks fine? If you think he doesn’t have it on the flop, get it all in as soon as possible. You played it perfectly given your read.

H3
According to my notes (cant see the hand right now) your either way ahead or way behind.
Bet the turn.
I would reraise the river. If he had you crushed I think you would know by now. However really weak bet is questionable. Maybe just calling is fine.

H4
Not sure!

H5
I would probably fold to PFR w/ small pockets out of position.
Nice bluff although I probably wouldn’t recommend it. You have straight outs though!

hope this helps

I would fold 1, 2, and 3 preflop. Am I insane?

Re: some hands that i would like to get feedback on

Hand 1: I usually bet full pot on the flop, but if this bet size is consistent with your normal c-bets it's fine IMO. Most of the time I bet the turn, but overall I like how this hand was played.

Hand 2: Bet/3-bet all-in on the flop.

Hand 3: WTF bet the turn.

Hand 4: I'm beginning to think you may be weak-tight, I really don't like how any street was played. I raise pre-flop and the hand plays much differently.

Hand 5: Okay, I was worried that you may be weak-tight

In the future, don't post results and limit these threads to 1 hand a thread, you will receive much better responses.
