Live 1-2 $100 max buy NL. I was berated at the table for this fold.

I am usually a limit player starting to get in to the NL scene.

We are 8 handed and UTG is a tight player I've played with on a couple of other occasions. His stack is about $450. UTG +2 is a major retard on his 4th buy in in less than 90 mins. I saw him go all in UTG for $55 with Q-6 and call all in with A-rag OS.

I have K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the BB.
UTG raises to $15. Retard pushes $65.
It folds around to me and I lay it down after thinking about it for a minute.
UTG folds. I told the two guys next to me what I folded and they gave it to me good.

I wasn't worried about the retard, I was worried about UTG.

Standard or am I off base here?

Just push to isolate retard. If UTG is a tight player there is only one hand he will contemplate a call with.

Meh, more than one hand perhaps but still a good play.

That is another good option. But i tight player raised to 7.5BB UTG and he's going to be getting pretty good odds. I just hope the crappy player sucks out and then you can get him.
