ARGH I made a big plan with a friend to go to Italy, room is rented, flights are booked, we leave in 8 days. Just found out most online sites are blocked by ISP's. [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] [censored]. This is a huge blow. Anyone have any ideas?

log in remotely to your desktop(assuming you have XP Pro or some remote access software) and play from there

Edit: Also, I'm pretty sure that you can still play at Eurobet from within Italy

ok i may owe you my life - can you give a brief explanation of how to get remote access software up and running? I only have XP home on my laptop and desktop.

Also - It is the ISP's in italy that block the sites - are you sure remote access would circumvent this?

It's definately possible to get round this, but I'm not the one to ask. My friend used a program called 'your freedom' and a proxy server to let me access poker sites even though the ISP had blocked it.
