Set on 4 straight board facing all in....2/4 NL 6 max

Been playing fairly tight, as had the villain.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

MP ($1006.26)
Button ($127)
SB ($155.30)
Hero ($404)
UTG ($431.60)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
UTG calls $4, MP raises to $8, 2 folds, Hero raises to $24, UTG folds, MP calls $20.

Flop: ($62) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $60, MP calls $60.

Turn: ($182) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP calls $918.26 (All-In), Hero calls $316 (All-In).

River: ($1416.26) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $1416.26

What do you think?

Re-raise more preflop...Barring any reads, I will give credit to massive overbets to an unknown until proven otherwise. Therefore I think this is a fold. I think your decision is made easier if you bet the turn and can fold much easier to a reraise.

i think the turn's a fold. most players won't push w/o a straight here since you re-raised him preflop and he probably puts you on a good hand like AK.

Raise more preflop, raising a trivial amount like that just gets you into deep trouble because it defines your hand cheaply for his benefit.

and, um well i cant put him on a hand. My gut is AA or the nuts with a redraw to a flush looking for a freeroll. One things for certain, he expects you to call (tight player reraising a tight opener out of the blinds on an AKJ10 board !!!). I'd be looking to fold this with any sort of a handle on his game - if he's making moves like this you should have identified it before now, but against a random party player this is extremely close, and in the long run i dont think it matters too much what you do.

However, if you're going to call this bet, then you should be betting the turn yourself. He isnt bluffing you thats for sure.

Assuming TAG, looks like QQ to me. You're good here occasionally but not 40% of the time - fold.
