This guy used to play starts 1/2 all the time, and latley appears to be absolutley CRUSHING 3/6 on UB from my limited observation. Has anyone played with him or know who he is?

He is some Indian dude. I think he is pretty mediocre. I like to have him in my 1/2 game on stars.

yeah when i played 1/2 on stars for a couple months this summer I saw some pretty mediocre play as well.

I've never played with him or observed closely, i just noticed that each time i glance at one of his table his is + another 30k, i've seen him run up over 100k stacks like 3 times this week. I wonder if he got better or is just running that good.

pretty smart guy, I believe his "group" developed one of the better poker bots that's around.

I don't think he had much to do with the development, I think he just helped test it by playing against it. The group you're talking about is U. of Alberta, right?

His name is Gautam Rao. Canadian, but Indian. Maybe brazilian from the name, but he looks indian. He created some poker holdem softward or something.

I've played with him a bit and I think he's good. But from what I've seen, the 3/6 game on UB sucks usually, and he's prolly running really good.

Eh, this has been the word on the street for a long time. I don't buy it. He has been the man in the biggest online games ever since the beginning on planet poker. I've only heard of him running really bad one time.

He's definitely a shorthanded shark. He may not be the best full game player (I'm not gonna say he's not good) but he's doing something right and winning tons of money and has been for a very long time.
