Incorrect call on the flop

Multi-tabling at Party so have to be quick on the draw here:

No reads on opponents at the moment and my question is around the flop call. No time to be calculating odds to the end so I do a quick 3 outs for the straight draw (3x4 =12%) add 4% for the BDFD and reckon calling one bet for 6 in the pot is decent. Is this too marginal. More importantly how do you do these calcs faster???

Re: Incorrect call on the flop

Two overs + ISD + BDFD = call. We will have to discount some of the outs because of the club draw, but it's still a call.

As for doing the calculations quickly: the more you do them the faster they get (if you need to cut back on tables in order to do this that's probably best.

But... since you're going to ignore that advice...

You can post an outs / odds chart next to your monitor or even have it open in the tool bar below so you can pull it up when you need it.

Better yet... Str8Fish told me he had seen a Party table skin where the center of the table WAS an odds chart... if anyone has that please post it!

Sounds good thanks. Be pretty interested in that skin! I actually only multi-table on party. I single table on stars so that I can focus more on practicing and working on these calcs.

If you call one small bet for any draws you have you will rarely be incorrect. If it was checked through and you had to make the same decision on the turn, call one big bet for a gs with over cards, I fold. Math is hard.

I don't use it myself though, so I can't tell how easy it is on the eyes.

Looks alright. Does resizing work with mods?

Re: Incorrect call on the flop

I would raise KQs preflop.

You are fine by calling the flop bet. You have 4 outs for GSSD + 1.5 outs for BDFD + your overcards (discounted) = ~7 outs. Pot odds need to offer: 47/7 - 1 = 5.7 to 1. Actually, how much does one discount the overcards with 2 flush on the board? Even if you discount the overcards to just one out you still have the odds to call on the flop.

There was recently a discussion about a quick way to see if you should continue with your draw here.
