200NL: QQ in re-raised

So, i finally moved to 200NL, but so far is has been anything but fun. Down a bunch so far, so obv looking for leaks.

Villain here is 38/20, very aggro. I figured i would flat call preflop, raise a safe flop and get it in. Is that fine or should i look for another line?

re-raise, call push imo

I definitely think that flatting is the way to go preflop without more specific reads.

Flop is definitely a raise for me with intentions of getting it in, but I'm interested to hear people's thoughts about raise sizing. $100ish to set up 1/2 pot turn shove?

raise flop to around 100, then shove turn.

Since you didn't 3-bet preflop, I think this gives villain a good opportunity to c-bet a flop like this. Raise the turn to $85 and expect him to fold. I'd call a shove if this 38/20 pushed.

You mean 4-bet i guess.

I thought that just calling his 3-bet would keep more medium pairs in his range, that could stack off on a flop like this. Sound thinking?

Yes, sound thinking. Why is there a problem on this flop?

I like your line so far, I'd make it about 80 now and then get the rest in when action is on you next.

I'd raise a smaller amount like 80 because I think it's more likely to get him to shove.

Dunno, just checking up i guess.

Thanks for the answers everybody.

Guess it's an easy raise-call.

4-bet pre every time against this villain.
