Why is that Donk Dario Minieri sponsored?
 

The guy is a total moron. He is not good, numerous players online or whatnot are better and more accomplished than he is. And they sponsor the Italian kid.

Ive played with him on stars in tons of $79's and $60's before i actually heard about him in the WSOP ME. I mean cmon he won some car using FPP and got deep in 1 tournament. I say hes a lucky kid to be sponsored and shuld not be sponsored.
He does nothing amazing.

And also his new pic on Stars the Neo from The Matrix is so lame and ignorant.

He got tv time. he wore a scarf. people will recognise him as the guy on tv who wore scarf and might play at pokerstars because of it.

You do know he also final tabled an EPT event right? Maybe do your research before dissing someone so harshly.

His style is so high variance that he is bound to look like a donkey sometimes when his bluffs don't work, but he must be doing something right.

EDIT: I'll continue my rant, cuz this really gets under my skin. You are saying we shouldn't bash him because his high variance style looks bad sometimes. Your statement contradicts itself. If his style is that high variance it is just as likely that when he actually wins he is just running like god as it is likely that when he looks like a donk he's just running bad. Do you realize how many people use his style of blind aggression?? Do you realize the % of them that will never make a big final table? The % of them you will never hear about that play the WSOP or EPT the same way? How many big 5k-10k events are there a year? Less than 100? These players get the glory because when they run good their chipstacks tend to swing in a much more dramatic fashion. Is he a complete donk? Probably not. Does the fact that he was successful in a small sample of high variance events using an extremely high variance style make him a great player above being berated in BBV? Absolutely [censored] not.

I remember seeing Dariominieri and leemur1 going at it constantly at the 5000$ heads up sng matches on stars a lot, during 2006..was pretty awesome. I liked him then, and I liked him now.
