Two hands previous to this, villain raised utg, i called utg+1 with AK all others folded. Flop KT4 he bet i call. Turn X he bet i call, river X he checks i bet 1000 he folds.

But he lost that bet. I agree, fold as played. I know the majority view here is to make Nicole Richie river value bets, but I think this one just has no chance of getting called by worse.

i dunno, it's not as clear a fold as the posters seem to think. You are getting 3:1 on ur money and if this guy can beat ur hand, he knows u probably caught ur ace and will likely pay him off(if he doesn't know who u are) and thus would be inclined to more than min-CR. I'd probably call here.
