Solid Rock Albums - At Least 5 Years Old
 

Recently I picked up an album I hadn't listened to in years. This has sparked some new interest on my part to find some more unknown/lost gems. I'm looking for albums where at least 6 or 7 songs you think are solid from bands that were not "main stream". Not Main Stream meaning they may have 1 or 2 songs that a lot of people know but not more than that.

Looking for any type of Rock: Hard, Classic, Soft, Punk, Modern, Acid, Funk, Blues yada yada yada. A few I would recommend:

Album: Sweet Oblivion

Song(s) you might listen to: Winter Song, Julie Paradise, Dollar Bill
Type of music: Bluesy modern rock. Singer has a very unique deep voice and all the songs on this album are listenable.

Artist: The Toadies
Album: Rubberneck
Song(s) you might know: Possum Kingdom
Song(s) you might listen to: Away, I come from the water, Tyler, I burn
Type of music: Texas Rock with some punk undertones.

Artist: Matthew Sweet
Album: Girlfriend
Song(s) you might know: Girlfriend
Song(s) you might listen to: Divine Intervention, Evangeline, I've Been Waiting
Type of music: Soft Rock voice with Punk Rock guitars. A bit sappy at times but still a solid album.
