Is this +EV against Aggro light 3better?
 

Villain is Salaro. I have him at 24/20/10. Havent played any hands with him this session yet, but in the past I found him to be extremely agressive, and 3bets quite often out of blinds.

If he really does 3bet a lot and cbets this amount with his whole range, then yes.

I doubt it is plus EV, too much of an overbet, he will call if he has you crushed and might call with strong draw. If the raise was a more natural size while mainting good fold equity (that is if more money were in pot to be gained from the play) it might be plus EV but I wouldn't like that a whole lot either ...

This is from faq, and in general i don't think that oneliners contribute very good to depth discussion on how a hand was played. Especially not when you take an alternative line, which i think that a minraise would be, i think it would be mandatory to tell us your thoughts, instead of 5 newbies like myself will need to post WHY ZE FACK U WANNA MINRAISE ZIS FLOP?

What is acceptable content for a reply to a hand?

You may post your thoughts on how the hand was played/answer any questions presented, and explain the reasoning behind your answers(...)


So why is you minraising? You think it gains more FE, are you folding to a push? I think folding to a push would be bad since we would only need to be good 25% of the time, and a quick estimate is that we will hit one of our 7outs around 25-30% of the time.

yeah calling and committing are both better than minraise/folding

unless you mean you plan on getting it in if he 3bets, LD?

of course i plan on getting it in if he 3bets...i wouldn't raise if i didn't.

you can obv make a case for calling but i think min raise is much better than pushing.
