Party 400NL, valubet second pair meh kicker?
 

Villain just sat down, seems kind of stationy. Def capable of having floated flop with A-high but after he checked river my hand is most likely good. I'm slightly worried about valueowning myself against JT/QT/KT, will pocket pairs below the 9 call often enough to make a bet here?

Really? There is a bunch of draws out there, but the A hit his range pretty well for sure and also probably makes him less inclined to call with worse (made hands).

Worse made hands, yes. But he will still find calls with draws and whatnot.

I just check behind on the river, btw you are not valuetowning yourself against KT,QT,JT, you are splitting.

definitely bet the turn. It helps to balance out your bets with As and bluffs and there are tons of draws that can come along.

As for the river, you do realize that you cannot possibly valuetown yourself against JT-KT... right? TT99A****

I would bet near pot as all lower pairs are folding almost always and he'll have a tough time calling with a T.
