it's a big disadvantage for a team like michigan to play in los Angeles. i think it's unfair. almost every year a big ten team is playing in a PAC 10 city for a big bowl game.

Pullman is comparable. |

I would say the Northwest is "chilly", and is consistently cold by the standards of, say, Californians. 35-45 degrees and raining is standard, during the fall and winter. But no, by Midwest standards that is not even remotely "cold".
