I dont like it, particularly utg. The way you played it, id be shoving the flop. Theres a few draws out there and you prob have the best hand atm.

Id only ever consider limping KK here if the table was super-tight, even then.. its just not me

Agree with deepsquat, adding I'd only limp if the table was either super tight, or wild with the plan of pushing back over the top preflop.

As it is the free flop reads to me as he hit two pair most likely.

You have to call here, theres no way they're putting you on an overpair. You have an M of about 10 and this is exactly the action you wanted right? No ace or pair flopped, what other type of non K flop is better?

Flop is standard. Preflop I don't like open-limping any hand 5-handed, and no, it's not standard to do so with even AA or KK. Since at this point of the tourney I'm stealing somewhat frequently I need to raise my good hands as well. Unless you've limped a decent amount previously, which you shouldn't have, I don't like it.

I've done this at some tables and it always seem to backfire on me.

Raise preflop and get it in on the flop.

Definitely get it in on flop.

Isn't this why you limped it PF, so people would overplay their TP or whatever hands against your hidden monster? I mean this is like your dream, undercard flop and someone shoves over your bet, you should cheerfully be calling. I don't like the PF limp either, it's not like raising would give away the strength of your hand since your range there is quite wide (or should be.)

EASY call. Flush draw is the worst-case scenario for you.

or maybe 555 or 888. those are possible too. once a player open limps, it encourages other to limp a hand they may have folded or raised with (like 5-5 or 8-8). regardless, i still call quickly b/c if he has QTs, QJ, QK, QA, or a flush draw he may be getting frisky on you.
