50 TPTK vs. tightish player

The player seems tight and is playing one table, but he hasn't been playing long, so I don't have a very good read yet.

your flop raise is way too big as played I fold

My vote:

[ ] Raise all-in
[ ] Call
[ ] Fold
[X] Not raise the flop in the first freakin' place

You've got TPTK against an unknown who looks tight and you're making a huge pot-sized raise? What calls this bet that you really want to be playing against? What folds to this bet that you're actually afraid of? Smooth call -- you'll either snap off more bluffs later on or keep the pot small for your weak-but-best hand.

Given the way you played it, all the money is going into the middle if you call this bet. Do you really want to play your pair of tens for stacks here? I don't.

Fold, and don't get yourself into this mess next time around.

it folds out FD's and I'd raise the flop too. But if he reraises me or calls I fold/slow down on the turn.

But isn't the minreraise a sign of weakness?

Pokey, you advocate just calling. And you are right, no worse hands calls the raise and better ones dont fold. However why would we give free shot to overcards? If they dont hit we dont get a cent from them and if they do..well we lose a pot. Whats wrong with taking the pot just here?

The majority of the time I'm just calling the flop bet.

I may have 3bet pre-flop but that definitely depends.

Edit: Oh right...as played definitely fold.

you want him to call with flush draws as long as its not correct for him to do so
