just an FYI, Poker EV counts blinds you post in $ won w/o showdown. so it's not the same as $ won w/o showdown when you voluntarily put money in.

Actually a serious question, I only started 6max this month but my non-showdown pots over 20k hands I'm running @ 6.3bb/100 so I was kinda wondering

? When I post the blind and win it back then thats profit. No matter how I got it back (by showdown, non showdown or cause it was folded to me).

edit: profit not in an absolute monetary sense

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

what i mean is that because we post blinds and they are stolen sometimes, utg raises we fold, etc, our $ won without showdown numbers in Poker EV will be smaller than if it only considered scenarios where we voluntarily put money in.

yeah i know some people with aggression can win their blinds back more than nittier people, but overall Poker EV's counting of the blinds posted clouds the picture.

example, 50nl, 9 tabling = about $100 an hour in blinds a player posts. if a player wins 40% of pots without showdown postflop, he could still be in the red according to Poker EV for $ won without showdown.
