Mixed Home Game

What games can I adopt for my home game other than the obvious, holdem, stud, omaha, triple draw, and razz? I'd like to have at least 10 if not 15 games to keep the action going and keep it exciting. Depending on the players in the game we play anywhere from $1/$2 no-limit up to $30/$60 limit and $2/$5 no-limit.

Stud 8 or better (hi/lo) and omaha 8 or better (hi/lo) are both good games. Since there are two ways to win each pot, these games should produce a lot of action.

You should ask the other players what they would like to play (maybe they want to play only a couple games).

a couple more to throw in: Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple. Both games are the same with one key difference. In both games, each player gets 3 hole cards and it's played just like holdem. The only thing is, after the betting is complete PRE-flop, in regular Pineapple, you have each player throw away one hole card and then deal the flop and continue on like holdem. In Crazy Pineapple, you complete the pre-flop bets, deal the flop, complete the flop bets and then have everyone left throw away one hole card before the Turn is dealt. Both are fun and interesting. Also, Chicago is fun.

My advice is to check this out:

A fun variant that I've played is double-flop holdem. Instead of a 3-card flop, there are two 3-card flops. Then there are two 1-card turns and two 1-card rivers. Like holdem, cards speak and the best hand of your 2-hole cards and one of the two 5-card boards wins.

The same could be done for omaha, omaha8, pineapple, etc but it gets a little out of control with all of the combinations of High/low hands.

...and here I thought this post would be racist.

I think you should play a tourney down to 3 and
then shoot darts. It would be no more retarded
than the Biathalon...
