Acronyms question?

I noticed on this forum that lot of the regulars use many acronyms when describing hand histories, person, etc. Can someone explain the following?

LAGs
3 betting
4 betting
floating
c-bet (I'm assuming check then bet?)
ep (early position?)

Thanks.

Re: Acronyms question?

LAG loose and aggressive player. Plays a large range of hands and plays them aggressively

3 betting and 4 betting is the third or fourth bet/raise almost always preflop

floating is calling a bet onthe flop with the aim to take it down with a bet on the turn usually regardless of what 2 cards you have. this is used to combat someone who acts before you and generally continuation bets all flops.

c-bet continuation bet. you raise preflop and get called, you then raise the flop regardless if you catch any piece of it.

ep early position
