Rake structure Q

Not sure if this is the best forum, but I reckon it should be!

Because this Question is Limit Hold'em strategy.

Ok the game is Live.

We have 3 choices.

a/ Rake is 5% commission up to $10.
(Red chip rake)

b/ Rake is $5 a flop.
(Only offered with 5 players or less, and not always offered)

c/ Rake is $25 an hour.
(However with less than 8 players, the time is a minimum of $200 total table charge.)

Which option do you think you would want in a $20/40 game?

i/ Full Ring

ii/ 3-4 handed

iii/ HU

Move this to B&M probably. This isn't a strategy ?

Re: Rake structure Q

i) b (a otherwise). could be close depending on table.
ii and iii) c, not close.

Think of it this way, OP, $10 cap is reached at 5 BB which will be over half the flops that are seen in full ring. So automatically that makes $5/flop better than $10 cap. Now assume 30 flops/hr and you get that the table pays $150/hour. This works out to $15/player in 10 handed game. $50/player in 3-handed game. I'm done with this, just trust me op.
