I'm upset that nobody took my bet because oh man would they have been pissed at the tiebreaker victory.

They just made up a winner before hand then didn't show anything so no one knew any better. You were obviously in on it, but your plan to weasel someone out of 20 dollars failed. Loser.

As we start the 2nd half, I liked to share one of my favoritest all-time punchlines of a joke that needs to be delievered with a white trashy drawl.

"Oklahoma Oklahoma
There I said it twice"

Assani,

It's great that you came here to ask us that question. It makes me feel good that you would come to this forum for college football analysis. The reason that you don't understand why Hawaii is ranked lower than OSU is because you're a [censored] retard. Thanks for your question!

Love,

Someone explain to me why Hawaii continually gets no love? I mean, they have zero losses while Ohio St has one and Ohio St's best win(Michigan) was ranked lower than Hawaii's best win(Boise St)....I just don't get it.

Hawai'i's games last year verse BCS opponents--they return the same squad this year

Alabama 25 v Hawai'i 17... Bama was 6-7 overall, 2-6 in SEC
Hawai'i 42 v Purdue 35... Purdue was 8-6 overall, 5-3 in the Big11Ten (didn't play tOSU or Michigan)
Oregon St 35 @ Hawai'i 32... ORegon St was 10-4 overall, 6-3 in Pac10

seems like Hawai'i is a mid-level BCS team

the reason they haven't played any *real* schools is their own fault as well
Michigan St backed out due to the absolutely horrid and documented mistreatment Hawai'i brings on opponents who come to the islands

[/ QUOTE ]
Fwiw, I'm pretty sure that it was Michigan who backed out and not MSU.

Class of 2004, tragically. I miss it terribly.

Curtis Lofton is very good at football.

I think State had an actually scheduled, agreed-to game with Hawaii that Sparty backed out of.

FWIW, as I remember it, in the offseason after 2005, when Hawaii's AD was looking to fill a spot on the schedule left vacated by State, they called Michigan. Martin refused the game, because I think Hawaii offered a 2-1 series (2 games in Ann Arbor, 1 in Hawaii).

So yeah, I don't think we ever agreed to play them. Instead of scheduling Hawaii, Michigan instead struck a deal with App State, who didn't ask us to go there. WTG Bill Martin!

so you're syaing that they're using last year's results of Hawaii to determine this year's? Seems a bit unfair to me, no? Players can improve a lot in the offseason, and I"m sure they don't have the same exact team.
