NL50 - AK turns pair

Villain was 11/0/0,7 over 80 hands. Havenīt been in a hand with him before.

I should have bet more on the turn with the flush and straight draws on the board.

How would you play it with the c/r on the turn?

Do you call the river?

Re: NL50 - AK turns pair

As always, I C-bet more than 1/2 pot....

Turn bet I'd make bigger. Otherwise, I think the river call is ok. It's possible we have a better two pair now, but straight and flush are out too. We've got showdown value and don't need to go crazy.

What is the '0,7', do you mean 0.7?

I'd cbet $5.00, $4.50 minimum.

Call river, you're beating 89/78/79/A9/A8/A7/TT/JJ and getting more than 4:1 on the call. Yeah, he'll have the straight or flush quite a bit but you'll win often enough to make the call profitable.

As everyone else has said, cbet more on the flop and bet more on the turn.

Also I think you should fold the turn. I'm really having trouble imagining what a super tight and super passive opponent c/c's the flop then c/minr's the turn that AK beats. I used to be really bad at paying off minraises all the time in hands like this, but in situations like this the minraise almost always represents an incredible amount of strength and it is almost never a bluff or blocker. These are value bets.
