Pokerstars equivalent to B&M 1/2, 2/4

I was wondering if anybody believes that there are any levels on pokerstars that have similiar play as limit 1/2 or 2/4 at a b&m. I'm planning on going to either turning stone, foxwoods or ac to pop my "b&m cherry". Do you think that playing .25/.50 and .50/1 on stars will be a good prep?

5/10 probably would play similar skill wise.

Online play is much harder than live.

A PS 5/10 game would play like a live 50/100 game.

You can prob play .25/.5 to get a feel.

You might want to play at the shorthanded tables to get practice too. Late-night casino players are awful when the table looses a few players.

Well, if you go to Foxwoods during the day/afternoon when most of the regulars are there, 3/6 or 5/10 are much more like a live 2/4 Foxwoods

Then again, last time I was at Foxwoods was '02 before Moneymaker, so my opinion is probably biased/not correct.

He's talking about a 1/2 or 2/4 game.

This is the lowest game offered I assume.

Live players are no good at these limits.

There's no such thing as 1/2 limit in B&M. Lowest game is 2/4.

And for the most part, agree with the above. From my experience, anything under 5/10 limit is equivalent to microstakes online (smallest game available is going to be bad anywhere).

I play PokerStars 0.25/0.50 and Foxwoods 2/4. They are comparable (0.25/0.50 is still a little tougher) IF you go to Foxwoods at the right time.
Foxwoods Fri night to Sun night plays a lot laggier than during the week with all the old TP nits.

Feel free to PM me if you have any specific Foxwoods questions.

Live 2/4 plays similar to pokerstars 10/20

I assume you meant play money
