another denver station reporting maybe only 4 games:

(CBS4) ENGLEWOOD, Colo. Broncos running back Travis Henry has tested positive for marijuana, CBS4's Vic Lombardi has confirmed.

It is unclear when he tested positive. If he test positive within two years of his last positive test, which was September of 2005, he could be facing a one-year suspension. If he tested positive after that period, he would have cleared a probation period and it would be treated as a first-time offense.

I got him in 2 leagues, but, sadly, someone picked him up in the 12 team league that I actually have Henry in earlier this week.

I'm pretty screwed in that one.

I picked him up and dropped Fargas. Hopefully Jordan is fine and Rhodes gets the scraps (because Fargas looked sweet this week).

That's mainly a product of Miami's [censored] run D and probably Oak's new zone blocking scheme. Jordan will be back week 6, but because of his back will probably miss time periodically. I expect Rhodes to be the main beneficiary

i have 300 free agent points to spend on pickups.. haven't used any yet. 12 team league.

my rb's are gore, mcgahee, chris brown, leon washington..clearly i could use another starting RB.

how many points do i use? its doubtful that there will be such a high-profile pickup later than this that i'd really really need... i think.

Henry is injured anyway, he could use the break. Four games seems right but I'm sure the NFL will make it a year because they can.

Edit: He's suing the NFL because he claims the test was administered improperly.

he did the 4 games thing a couple of years ago. it's 16 games this time.

mike bell would be a good pickup too. who knows what shanahan is thinking and what he'll do. not sure what's happened to cecil sapp but haven't heard his name since he was supposedly the #1 backup entering the season

150 sounds high - how much did ward go for? do you have any bye week issues w/ WRs? it sounds like it's not yet definite that he's out for a year, and there may be litigation.

i think you gotta do it. there won't be a player the rest of the season with the upside young has right now. if you don't grab him, someone else will. lock him up. even though there's some risk he won't be the starter, at least there's no question what he'd do if put in the starting role. that's a hell of a lot more valuable than someone like brian leonard, who might start several (or possibly even all) of their games but whose production is the big question mark

Had to drop Betts, Chester Taylor and Wynn in the 3 leagues to get him. Oh well, i think its for the best.

lol, in one of my leagues, i had picked up selvin young earlier tonight, because of henry's knee condition. I told my friend who has henry that he's basically screwed, and he told me that he just dropped maroney for washington. Don't have a great waiver wire position, but I've claimed him and could have Addai/Jacobs/Young/Thomas Jones/Maroney as my backs. Trade bait. mmmmm

yeah i bid $17 for him this afternoon (we have a budget of 250 for the year) but the lazy commish didn't run the FAAB thing yet - i have bush /portis/ morris/ ward/ norwood and have been trying to get betts from the maroney / henry owner all week - if i landed young and henry's out i'll have a lot more than betts trade bait on my hands - should be an interesting weekend -

Well, I got Young in 3/4 leagues, and in both the leagues that I care even remotely about. Unfortunately, I had Henry in 2 of the leagues, including my money one, but if Young can put up similar numbers, it's no biggie.

I had to drop a guy I wanted to start Week 6, though because my team is so nasty.

Drafted him in the 13th round of a keeper league (can only keep players you drafted, with a two-round penalty). Dropped him last week to play defense matchups. Someone else beat me to him tonight. Merde.

Huge beat: My league has a blind bid auction draft for free agents. I really needed a RB- Graham and Young were the top 2 available. I wanted Young more, but bid more for Graham (since he should be starter for rest of the year, and I knew would command more). I could only drop one roster spot for whichever I got. I kept trying to prioritize Young on the site (cbssportsline) but it would always sort them in order of bid amount. Finally, I said oh well, probably won't be be high bid on both anyway. I was. I get Graham for double the price that I bid on Young. One hour later, this story breaks. FUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!
