list of funny stand up comedians
 

when i play a tourny or whatever online i get really bored so ill usually watch tv as im playing but recently ive been watching stuff on youtube. like standup comedians and stuff. an american friend told me to check out a guy called dane cook and i found him on youtube and hes really funny.

could we maybe get a list of good stand up comedians(preferbly on youtube)?

All the "Comedians of Comedy" guys are awesome, Patton, Zach, Brian.

Hugh Fink's comedy central special is funny to me.

Dmetri Martin's thing was pretty funny but he just does the same thing all the time and it gets really old.

Alive... Doug Stanhope's "no refunds" which I saw some of on cable two days ago was pretty damn good. I put him on the list.

Denis Leary's "No Cure for Cancer" and Christopher Titus' "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding" (both HBO specials, IIRC) had me rolling.

Jim Gaffigan is awesome, although a lot of his stuff is old bits reused like a lot of comedians.

Daniel Tosh is probably my favorite comedian though, very original style and delivery and absolutely hilarious material.

Chappelle has always had amazing standup. "For what it's worth" was some of the funniest stand up I've ever seen.

Dane Cook's comedy central special before he really got famous was hilarious, but I don't like most of his stuff anymore as he is just a giant hack now.

Yeah... I mean, there are living ones I like. I like Stanhope, and David Cross and Patton Oswalt as well, and Carlin at his peak was one of the best, and is still enjoyable. I really liked Mitch Hedberg, too-- saw him once.
