Stars software - x Blind Indicator.... to prevent misclick?

I don't play online very often. It happened to me but may not happened to others. However, I think it's good to put some kind of blind size indicator when make a raise....

The funny thing is the big stack paused for 15 seconds before folding so did the BB..... at least they knew I was committed.

I've done this a few times (including making some 100xBB PF raises in cash games) and it usually has to do with me typing too many zeros or something. I don't think it is a huge problem, however you should always consider the odds that someone misclicked into your EV calculations (like .01% maybe) .

Why'd you censor your cards? I've been dying to know your misclick range.

LLLOOOLLLL

misclicks are so funny. I've thought about suggesting this before as well. It would be a little more complicated than simply warning you for raising more than (say) 20x the BB, since it would have to account for the other action during the hand. I don't want stars warning me every time I 4bet-shove preflop.

Also, on the same topic, when you manually type in a bet ammount - the software should not allow you to type an ammount less than a min-bet, nor greater than your stack.

For example, blinds 6000/12,000 - I type in a raise of 3100 - instead of forcing a min-raise of 24k, the button should be "grayed out" until I fix the ammount or use the slider. Also say I have a 280k stack (same blinds) and I type in a raise of 310,000 and hit click (or hit enter) - the button should not work. It should be fairly intuitive that nobody would make an all-in bet in this fashion... they would simply pull the slider all the way over. At least I think not, does anyone actually just mash numbers to go AI?

Absolutely, this is how I allin 90%+ of the time. I'm very much in the habit of clicking on the bet amount box and typing a number. Planning to go allin doesn't change that -- I click there and type some random numbers.

i don't see how you could possibly make this misclick unless you type in the number of a 3x instead of just clicking the slider once.
