When he calls the flop and then bets the turn when checked to I think it's safe to say you can let it go.

I think he's answering the overplaying question in the subject. But I am curious as to what yall think of my line here and whether anyone would have led the turn instead?

I wouldnt of checked the turn there. lead out with another bet and if the villian raises knowing you will be getting the odds to call, then you can pretty much conclude that you are beat. now the question at that point is, how badly are you beat and do the odds justify calling? personally, at times when I am pretty positive that I am beat then i TRY not to let the odds determine if I call or not. ok I sidetracked a bit here but u played top top like you had top set which I think was a mistake in this situation.
