standard vs minraise?
 

i've been running roughshod over the table, almost entirely with blind steals so i've probably got a near maniacal image. A combination of good cards and lots of weaktight folders have caused this. My table stats are 41/37, and villain has been around for most of that.


pf raise size has been adequate for blind purchases up to this point, so i havent put more in from the sb at this table pf.

Well played, with your image the minraise on the flop could very well just be a re-steal attempt. I think you might have some thin value on the river too, if you bet about half pot.

main main dilemma in this hand is the river given how I played the flop/turn. It seems like this line is a standard 1 pr line, which leaves me in an awkward spot from oop on the river - especially given that I don't know how big of a bet to call there.

Maybe a smallish vb on the end is best after all, as much as a showdown blocking bet as anything.

Yeah, that sounds like a reasonable plan, especially given that it sounds like the table is playing defensively against your maniacal image rather playing back at you with big raises.

yeah, a "blocking" river bet which may turn out to be VB may be best. Then you can bet/fold safely and extract a tad more value when you're ahead. That said, i see maybe AQ/ragged 2 pair slowing down here like this.

bet 7 on the river and fold to a raise. rest seems fine to me

I like the turn bet I often just check after getting minraised on the flop. is this a block/or a value bet here? just curious cause this is very non standard for me

your line looks weird. i sometimes 3bet this flop and lead the turn and sometimes i call flop and bomb a brick on the turn. that Js is definately not a brick, but a blocking bet (that's what it is) seems fine to me. you can safely b/f this turn.
that 7 on the river is a block- value bet and again if you get raised you are def beat
