How difficult is Omaha to learn?
 

The local casino spreads a 5/10 Omaha/Hold'em game and there's a few rich donks that frequent it.

I've got well over a million hands of HE in 4 years under my belt, considering such would Omaha be worthwhile to learn?

play some online, one omaha hand is 6 holdem hands so there is a big difference but many similarities

The biggest thing is adjusting thinking from "what is the absolute/relative strength of my hand" to thinking in terms of equities. There are a lot of spots in hold'em where you are essentially trying to put a player on a specific hand or a small range of hands, then deciding your best course. In Omaha it's similar, but you're looking at your equities and how they fare against different ranges. You'll find a lot of the time that you have a pretty high baseline equity. For example, the nut flush draw is super powerful and always has a good amount of equity, especially multiway.

The other thing you need to do is be prepared to win/lose/fling stacks around pretty wildly, much unlike hold'em where you aren't all-in very frequently.

It's not hard to learn if you actually make the effort to learn it properly by reading articles and studying your game. If you sit down and play your hands like hold'em though, you can lose a lot of money quickly. To start though, it would help to know if this is a limit game or a pot-limit game.
