Given that he's wondering if he should have folded, I'm thinking he outright lost the hand (meaning no chop from A5 straight). Only hands that would have knocked off his rockets are KK, 65, or a pocket pair that made a set. Of those the only hand that would have stacked off pre-flop under these conditions is KK, perhaps questionably, but even so.

So Simon's probably wondering if he should have laid down the hand, even if he absolutely pegged the guy for KK pre-flop. He had to call 1680 into a 2780 pot that would have then been capped at 4460 for the hand. AA is a 4-to-1 favorite against KK, so if you won 80% of the time here, on average you're coming out with 4528 (3568+960 left in your stack) in chips, which is definitely better than folding which leaves you with 2640.

Then throw in the fact that you're a huge favorite to win, while simultaneously becoming the chip leader and knocking out another decent stack, I don't see how you can question yourself. Also, don't forget this is against KK, the best possible hand you could be up against. Anything else and you're substantially better than even this monster favorite.

I guess I should also mention you could have been up against the other AA which is so super unlikely, and even if it happened, you're 99.999999999% to chop the pot in which case you're still +EV by splitting the blinds.

Also, that converter is off isn't it? The final pot is more than 2380 based on the numbers above. 2380 is the amount not put in by Hero, but why would you have a converter that does that when future decisions are based on the entire pot.

I was up against A5o and I think I could get to money by min raising(like a donk I know) but never getting my chips all in

lol damn A5, you just have to laugh that one off man. Folding is not just too tight, it's psychotic. You're a much better lock to cash becoming the chip leader at basically the best pre-flop odds you can ever get. You should be ecstatic someone bit into your action-requesting raise with their entire stack.

And I guess I should also add that this is a killer backup to your stated min-raising strategy. Now people see you showdown AA with a min-raise, and it's that much more effective.

I would love to see someone else going all in with Aces against Ace5 since I will win then anyways.If I go all In If I lose I lose.If I win the whole table wins.Plus its not great odds for me every pre-flop all in is a CF because I win pretty much 50% of them and most times I'm a huge favorite I lot that tournament with QQ against J5o the chances of loosing those two hands in a row is like 0.8% sick.I'm probably just tilted but if I look at my past 700 games on stakes I've been beating easily for previous 4000 games I can't see how can I keep loosing an loosing them big time.
